Mobile Application: Shakespeare Player

The folks at Seriously Entertaining Games came to us and wanted to make a game application for The  "Apps for Class" challenge. Their game, "The Shakespeare Player," is a mobile game in which students of English or Theater (or fans of Shakespeare) can use to build their own plays and sonnets based on "The Bard's" work. Players can select their avatars, and create plays with other users in their troop. We developed the game app and submitted it.

The first round came and went, and our app had still made the cut. Dozens of applications were submitted, and only ours and 15 others went forward into the final round of judging.

While "The Shakespeare Player" didn't win, it took the 1st runner up position. We're proud of the work we did on the android application and it allowed us to work more closely with Seriously Entertaining Games and their organization. Plus, making a game application is fun! We look forward to working with Becky Palmer-Scott in the future and look forward to working on other game applications.
