Sending emails from mobile devices has been going on since...well mobile devices. But, one of the biggest problems facing developers was the ability to compile information gathered by an application into a PDF...and mailing it.

At the time, there was no proven way a PDF could be compiled and emailed, due to restrictions in how Adobe produces PDF files and the integration between the application building software and the emailing software. Even in some previous applications, the PDF to email didn't function as completely as was needed for this application in particular.

So, back to the drawing board!

Tim Chalfant (Product Manager) and Bryan Novak (CTO) spent countless hours developing and testing the function. We were able to create a unique Appery.io plugin that integrates Appery with SendGrid.

Our friends at Legal Pad Apps were quite happy to hear that one of their wish-list items was not only feasible...but it was now a reality. Their application can produce the results of the tool into a compiled PDF that is secure and can be mailed to a recipient of choice. This greatly reduces the need for other software suites, and creates a new tool that had never been done before.

THiNC.technology is busy preparing this plugin for commercial use.
